Shaped by the rhythms of Mediterranean hospitality with an exceptional culinary offering and grounded in social purpose, Glasshouse is one of the most exciting new venues in the Kingdom.
Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, 1st October 2026: Glasshouse, a new Mediterranean restaurant centred around exceptional food, hospitality and community values, is set to open in Dhahran this October. Masterminded by Arrama for Food Services Company, operating under Alturki Holding, Glasshouse is an exciting new addition to the Eastern Province’s culinary scene, combining the appeal of destination dining with the warmth and familiarity of a much-loved neighbourhood restaurant. At its heart is a simple philosophy: to offer an authentic, heartfelt experience that gives guests a reason to return time and again.
Rami Khalid Alturki, President and CEO of Alturki Holding, explains: “Glasshouse reflects our ambition to bring a new level of dining experience to the Eastern Province. We wanted to create something that feels genuinely relevant to Dhahran: sophisticated enough to be a destination, but relaxed and familiar enough to become part of people’s everyday lives. Just as importantly, Glasshouse has been conceived with a wider sense of purpose, supporting Saudi talent and regional craftsmanship while creating a restaurant that contributes positively to the community around it.”

Glasshouse’s development has been spearheaded by Arrama’s General Manager Emma Fisher, a powerhouse F&B expert with over 50 regional openings to her name. At its heart, Glasshouse is shaped by the rhythms of Mediterranean hospitality, with a menu developed by Exeuctive Chef Jon Skotidas and a focus on high-quality ingredients and an evolving menu of dishes. Guests can expect a contemporary approach to Mediterranean dining, with dishes designed for both sharing and individual dining. Small plates include Seabass Ceviche with saffron tiger’s milk, Cacio e Pepe Croquettes with truffle, Gambas al Ajillo and Buffalo Burrata with peach and basil pesto, alongside pizzas fresh from the oven. Larger plates range from Squash Agnolotti to Linguine Nerano, while the Josper brings a deeper, fire-led dimension to the menu with Whole Seabass, Grilled Octopus, Lamb Chops and Wagyu Rib Eye. Daily focaccia with olive tapenade sets the tone: generous, ingredient-led food that is polished without losing its sense of warmth and familiarity.
Glasshouse’s tangible commitment to local makers and social impact gives it a distinctive sense of purpose, celebrating regional artisan talent while supporting meaningful initiatives. The restaurant’s hosts will wear abayas featuring embroidery by female refugees, curated by the craft collective Inaash. Elsewhere, custom architectural lighting and table lamps have been designed specifically for the restaurant by Lebanese company Fabrica, while bespoke, handcrafted ceramics and tableware are sourced from Emirati-born brand Bornfree Ceramics. A partnership with Zadk Saudi Culinary Arts Academy will see Glasshouse sponsor Saudi students through an in-restaurant internship, as well as commit to the further sponsorship of selected students.
